Full Itinerary
The guide will pick you at the port in Xiamen, then head up to the stunning Tulou attraction directly. When arriving in Tianluokeng Tulou Cluster, take an overview at the top of the mountain Tianluokeng hakka cluster, situated in Shuyang Town. The castle, composed of four round houses plus one rectangular earthen house, named 4 dishes and 1 soup. It can be seen as one of the most magnificent and well-preserved hakka houses in this area. After that, stroll around the Tianluokeng Hakka cluster to have a look at the simple daily life of locals.
Then, take a break and relish in a delightful lunch at a local home-cooked restaurant among the lush tea garden. Refresh yourself from the savory local cuisine as well as the tranquil countryside view. We continue on to Xiaban village via a 15-minute drive, witness Yuchanglou. The Yuchanglou Tulou is the oldest among those existing in Fujian Province is commonly called the “Leaning Tulou”. Soon after the earthen building was completed, the wood pillar in the corridor above the second floor began to slope to two sides.
Next, passing Taxia village, one of the splendid village build along a stream, roaming at this water village, visit Zhang’s clan ancestral hall, listed among the major culture relics protected under national level. Afterward, the guide will take you back to the port for your new departure.
